The 2023 Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team represented the University of Notre Dame as an independent during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Led by second-year head coach Marcus Freeman, the Fighting Irish compiled a record of 10–3. The season was highlighted by a blowout home win over No. 10 USC and a victory in the Sun Bowl against No. 19 Oregon State. The team played its home games at Notre Dame Stadium in Notre Dame, Indiana and drew an average home attendance of 77,622.[1]
