The 2018–19 season was Raith Rovers' second consecutive season in the third tier of Scottish football since being relegated from the Scottish Championship via the play-offs at the end of the 2016–17 season.[1] Raith Rovers also competed in the Challenge Cup, League Cup and the Scottish Cup.
Raith were led by manager Barry Smith for the 2018–19 season. This was his second season at the club.[2]
On 4 September Smith resigned from his position at the club.[3]
On 25 September, John McGlynn was appointed as the new manager for second spell with the club.[4]
