The 1983 Ohio State Buckeyes football team represented the Ohio State University in the 1983 Big Ten Conference football season. Led by fifth-year head coach Earle Bruce, the Buckeyes compiled an overall record of 9–3 with a mark of 6–3 in conference play, placing fourth in the Big Ten. Ohio State was invited to the Fiesta Bowl, where the Buckeyes defeated Pittsburgh. The team played home games at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
