Η Μακρά Λογκά είναι ορεινό χωριό της Περιφερειακής Ενότητας Αιτωλοακαρνανίας σε υψόμετρο 800 μέτρων[2].

Γεωγραφία - Ιστορία

Η Μακρά Λογκά βρίσκεται προς τα όρια με την Περιφερειακή Ενότητα Ευρυτανίας και βόρεια της λίμνης Τριχωνίδας. Απέχει 25,5 χλμ. Δ. από το Αγρίνιο και 12 χλμ. ΒΔ. από το Θέρμο. Η παλιά ονομασία του χωριού είναι Μακρειά Λογκά και έτσι αναφέρεται επίσημα το 1940 να απογράφεται στην τότε κοινότητα Σπαρτιά. Το 1962 το όνομα διορθώνεται σε Μακρά Λογκά[3]. Σύμφωνα με το πρόγραμμα Καλλικράτης, μαζί με τον Σπαρτιά, την Στεκούλα και την Στριγκανιά αποτελούν την τοπική κοινότητα Σπαρτιά που υπάγεται στη δημοτική ενότητα Παραβόλας του δήμου Αγρινίου και σύμφωνα με την απογραφή 2011 έχει πληθυσμό 26 κατοίκους[4].
