Η Λουίζα (γερμ. Luise, 29 Ιανουαρίου 1722 - 13 Ιανουαρίου 1780) από τον Οίκο των Γουέλφων ήταν κόρη του Δούκα του Μπράουνσβαϊγκ-Βόλφενμπύττελ και με τον γάμο της έγινε πριγκίπισσα της Πρωσίας.

Βιογραφία

Η Λουίζα Αμαλία ήταν το έβδομο παιδί και η δεύτερη κόρη του Φερδινάνδου Αλβέρτου Β΄ του Μπράουνσβαϊγκ-Βόλφενμπυττελ και της Αντωνίας, κόρης του Λουδοβίκου Ροδόλφου του Μπράουνσβαϊγκ-Λύνεμπουργκ.

Το 1742 παντρεύτηκε τον Αύγουστο Γουλιέλμο της Πρωσίας, αδελφό του Φρειδερίκου Β΄ της Πρωσίας, που είχε παντρευτεί την μεγαλύτερη αδελφή την, Ελισάβετ Χριστίνα. Ήταν ακόμη αδελφή της Ιουλιανής Μαρίας, Βασίλισσας της Δανίας, και του Καρόλου Α΄ του Μπράουνσβαϊγκ-Βόλφενμπυττελ.

Καθώς, ο βασιλιάς Φρειδερίκος και η αδελφή της δεν είχαν παιδιά, ο πρωτότοκος γιος της, Φρειδερίκος Γουλιέλμος, ήταν ο διάδοχος του πρωσικού θρόνου.

Όταν έμεινε χήρα το 1758, της δόθηκε το Παλάτι του Διαδόχου στο Βερολίνο. Απεβίωσε το 1780 σε ηλικία 57 ετών στο Παλάτι Οράνιενμπουργκ στα περίχωρα του Βερολίνου.
