Η Σοφία Παπάζογλου (Βρυξέλλες, 27 Ιουλίου 1972[3][4]) είναι Ελληνίδα τραγουδίστρια του έντεχνου και της λαϊκής μουσικής.

Καριέρα

Ξεκίνησε να τραγουδά ελληνική παραδοσιακή και σύγχρονη λαϊκή μουσική σε μαγαζιά της Θεσσαλονίκης στα φοιτητικά της χρόνια στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης. Αργότερα σπούδασε φωνητική στο Σύγχρονο Ωδείο Αθηνών με τη Μήδεια Ιασωνίδου. Παρακολούθησε σεμινάρια στο Εργαστήρι Φωνητικής Τέχνης του Σπύρου Σακκά και μαθήματα κινησιολογίας στο εργαστήρι της Μαίρης Τσούτη.[5]

Η επαγγελματική της ενασχόληση με το τραγούδι άρχισε το 1995, όταν ο συνθέτης Νίκος Μαμαγκάκης της εμπιστεύτηκε την ερμηνεία των τραγουδιών του κύκλου «Στεναγμός Ανατολίτης».[5]

Προσωπική ζωή

Γεννήθηκε στις Βρυξέλλες και σε ηλικία 6 ετών μετακόμισε με την οικογένειά της στη Θεσσαλονίκη.[6]

Έχει πάρει το πτυχίο της από το «Παιδαγωγικό Τμήμα Δημοτικής Εκπαίδευσης» της Παιδαγωγικής Σχολής του Α.Π.Θ.[5]

Κατάγεται από την Άψαλο Πέλλας από την πλευρά του πατέρα της και τα Πλατάνια Ρόδου από την πλευρά της μητέρας της. Ο πατέρας της είναι ποντιακής καταγωγής. Και οι δύο γονείς της είναι πρόσφυγες από τη Μικρά Ασία.[7] Έχει μία κόρη, τη Δέσποινα.[8]
