Η Ουρανία Αντωνοπούλου (γενν. 1960) είναι Ελληνίδα οικονομολόγος και πολιτικός.

Βιογραφία

Γεννήθηκε το 1960 στην Αθήνα και σπούδασε Οικονομικά. Έχει διεξάγει επιστημονικές έρευνες για θέματα οικονομίας, κρίσης και έμφυλης ισότητας.[1]

Πολιτική σταδιοδρομία

Εξελέγη βουλευτής Επικρατείας με τον ΣΥΡΙΖΑ στις εκλογές του Ιανουαρίου του 2015.[2] Στην πρώτη κυβέρνηση του Αλέξη Τσίπρα ήταν αναπληρώτρια υπουργός Εργασίας και Κοινωνικής Αλληλεγγύης αρμόδια για την καταπολέμηση της ανεργίας,[3] αξίωμα το οποίο διατήρησε και στη δεύτερη κυβέρνηση Τσίπρα.[4]

Παραιτήθηκε από τη θέση της αναπληρώτριας υπουργού Εργασίας και Κοινωνικής Αλληλεγγύης στις 26 Φεβρουαρίου 2018, μετά την αποκάλυψη ότι εισέπραττε επίδομα ενοικίου 1,000€ για διαμέρισμα που νοίκιαζε στο Κολωνάκι με αίτησή της σύμφωνα με τον Ν.4336/2015. Είχε επικριθεί και γιατί το δηλωμένο εισόδημα στο πόθεν έσχες ήταν αρκετά μεγάλο για να καλύψει το ενοίκιο.[5]

Μερικές ώρες μετά την αποπομπή της από τον Πρωθυπουργό, παραιτήθηκε και ο σύζυγός της, υπουργός Οικονομίας και Ανάπτυξης, Δημήτρης Παπαδημητρίου.[6]
