Πλειάς (φιλολογία)

Με τον φιλολογικό όρο Πλειάς χαρακτηρίστηκαν κατά καιρούς κάποιες ομάδες ποιητών και φιλολόγων. Σημαντικότερες τέτοιες ομάδες ήταν εκείνη των τραγικών ποιητών του Αλεξανδρινού κανόνα τον 3ο αι.π.Χ. και πολύ αργότερα η περί τον Ρονσάρ Γάλλοι ποιητές.[1]

Αλεξανδρινή Πλειάς

Κατά τον Αλεξανδρινό κανόνα την Πλειάδα αποτελούσαν οι επί Πτολεμαίου Β' του Φιλάδελφου ακμάσαντες επτά τραγικοί ποιητές, από τους οποίους και ονομάσθηκε και τραγική πλειάς. Την ομάδα αυτή αποτελούσαν οι: Σωσιφάνης ο Συρακόσιος, αρχαιότερος όλων, ο Σωσίθεος που άκμασε το 280 π.Χ. λεγόμενος επίσης Συρακόσιος ή Αθηναίος, ο Όμηρος ο Βυζάντιος, ο Λυκόφρων ο Χαλκιδεύς, ο Αλέξανδρος ο Αιτωλός, ο Φιλίσκος ο Κερκυραίος και ο Διονυσιάδης ή Διονυσίδης από την Ταρσό.[1]

Από μερικούς στη Πλειάδα αυτή κατατάσονταν και ο Αιαντίδης που τον μνημόνευαν μόνο οι Σχολιαστές και από άλλους ο Ευρόνιος που είχε ασχοληθεί με τις ερμηνείες των Κωμικών. Η λάμψη όμως της Πλειάδας αυτής δεν φαίνεται να ήταν και τόσο ισχυρή αφού εκ του έργου τους μόνο λίγα αποσπάσματα έχουν διασωθεί και κάποιες επιγραφές.

Γαλλική Πλειάς

Στη γαλλική λογοτεχνία Πλειάς ονομάσθηκε ομάδα, επίσης επτά σε αριθμό, Γάλλων ποιητών που απέβλεπαν στην αναγέννηση της γαλλικής ποίησης και γλώσσας επί βασιλείας Ερρίκου Β΄.[1] Την ομάδα αυτή (Σχολή) αποτελούσαν οι: Αντώνιος ντυ Μπαΐφ, ο Ιωακείμ ντυ Μπελαί, ο Ρεμί Μπελώ, ο αρχηγός τους Ιωάννης Ντορά, ο Στέφανος Ζοντέλ, ο Ποντύς ντι Τιάρ και ο Πέτρος Ρονσάρ.

Κατά το πρόγραμμά τους που δημοσίευσε ο Ντυ Μπελαί το 1549 σκοπός της Σχολής αυτής η υπεράσπιση και ο εξωραϊσμός της Γαλλικής γλώσσας καθώς και ο εμπλουτισμός της ποιητικής φράσης και κατά τα κλασσικά πρότυπα η διαμόρφωση των διαφόρων ειδών της Γαλλικής Λογοτεχνίας.

Λουδοβίκια Πλειάς

Κατά τους χρόνους του Λουδοβίκου ΙΓ΄ (1610-1643) συνεστήθη και έτερη Γαλλική Πλειάς στην οποία περιλαμβάνονταν ο Καμίρ, ο Λαρύ ο Μενάζ, ο Ντυπερριέ, ο Πετί, ο Ραπέν και ο Σαντέλ.

Αυτή όμως η ομάδα έμεινε λιγότερο γνωστή στη Γαλλική Λογοτεχνία απ΄ ότι η προηγούμενη.

  • Σήμερα ο φιλολογικός αυτός όρος Πλειάς χρησιμοποιείται ευρύτατα από εκδοτικούς οίκους, σεμινάρια, ημερίδες κλπ λογοτεχνικού κυρίως ενδιαφέροντος.
