Η Πλατεία Ουρουγουάης είναι μικρού μεγέθους πλατεία στη συνοικία Χίλτον στην Αθήνα, ακριβώς πίσω από το ομώνυμο ξενοδοχείο, επί της συμβολής των οδών Χατζηγιάννη Μέξη και Μιχαλακοπούλου. Στην πλατεία βρίσκονται δύο παγκάκια κι ένα πλακόστρωτο που περιβάλλεται από γκαζόν, καθώς και ο ορειχάλκινος ανδριάντας του Χοσέ Χερβάσιο Αρτίγας, του στρατηγού ο οποίος θεωρείται πατέρας της ανεξαρτησίας της Ουρουγουάης. Η κατασκευή του αγάλματος ολοκληρώθηκε το 1950, η ανέγερσή του όμως έγινε μόλις το 2000, αφού δόθηκε ως δώρο στον δήμο Αθηναίων από το Υπουργείο Παιδείας και Πολιτισμού της Ουρουγουάης. [1][2]
