Η Μεσούρα είναι ημιορεινό χωριό του νομού Ιωαννίνων σε υψόμετρο 265 μέτρων[1][2]. Βρίσκεται στις ανατολικές πλαγιές του όρους Τόμαρος ή Ολύτσικας και δυτικά του ποταμού Λούρου. Απέχει 33,5 χλμ. νότια της πόλης των Ιωαννίνων[3] και είναι ανάμεσα στα όμορα χωριά Κάτω Μουσιωτίτσα (ΒΔ. και 5 χλμ. απόσταση) και Άνω Μουσιωτίτσα (Ν.-ΝΔ. και 6 χλμ.). Πιθανόν από εκεί προέρχεται και το όνομά της. Ως οικισμός αναγνωρίστηκε το 1981[4]. Σύμφωνα με το σχέδιο Καλλικράτης, μαζί με την Άνω Μουσιωτίτσα, Κάτω Μουσιωτίτσα και Νέα Μουσιωτίτσα αποτελούν τη τοπική κοινότητα Μουσιωτίτσας που ανήκει στη δημοτική ενότητα Αγίου Δημητρίου του Δήμου Δωδώνης και σύμφωνα με την απογραφή 2011 έχει πληθυσμό 48 κατοίκους[5]
