Liste der Municipios in Michoacán

Der mexikanische Bundesstaat Michoacán ist in 113 Verwaltungsbezirke (Municipios) unterteilt, die in 10 Regionen gruppiert sind. Die Verwaltungsbezirke werden aus 8.644 Ortschaften (span. Localidades) (darunter 231 urbane = städtische) gebildet. Zu den ländlichen Gemeinden (Pueblos) zählen ebenso Farmen (Ranchos, Haziendas) und andere alleinstehende Gebäude (Mühlen, Poststationen, Tankstellen usw.). Die Zahl der Ortschaften ist in den letzten Jahren rückläufig (2000: 9.686; 2010: 9.427).
