Astroffiseg yw'r gangen o seryddiaeth sy'n delio â ffiseg a chemeg y bydysawd h.y. gwneuthuriad ffisegol y planedau, y sêr a gwrthrychau eraill yn hytrach na'u lleoliad neu symudiad drwy'r gofod. Mae hyn yn cynnwys priodweddau megis dwysedd, tymheredd, cyfansoddion cemegol a goleuedd o wrthrychau wybrennol e.e. galaethau, sêr, planedau, planedau allheulol, a'r cyfrwng rhyngserol, yn ogystal a'i rhyngweithiadau.[1][2]
