Hliniště (německy Leimsgrub) je malá vesnice, část městyse Strážný v okrese Prachatice v Jihočeském kraji. Nachází se v údolí říčky Řasnice, při silnici I/4 mezi Horní Vltavicí (resp. vesnicí Řasnice) a Strážným, necelé 2 kilometry na východ od Strážného. Je zde evidováno 21 adres.[3] V roce 2011 zde trvale žilo 28 obyvatel.[4]

Hliniště je také název katastrálního území o rozloze 3,21 km2.[5] V katastrálním území Hliniště leží i Kořenný.

Historie

První písemná zmínka o vesnici pochází z roku 1735.[6]
