Amadeus VIII. Savojský či také Felix V. (4. září 1383, Chambéry – 7. leden 1451, Ženeva) byl savojský hrabě a vévoda, hrabě ze Ženevy, vládce Piedmontu a také poslední vzdoropapež.

Život

Byl synem savojského hraběte Amadea VII. a Bony z Berry. Vlády nad Savojskem se ujal roku 1391 jako hrabě a roku 1416 byl císařem Zikmundem povýšen na vévodu. Roku 1418 získal vládu nad Piemontem, po smrti svého příbuzného Ludvíka Piemontského. Díky sňatku s Marií Burgundskou[1] se stal zetěm burgundského vévody Filipa II.

Papežští protivníci – Felix V. a Mikuláš V. s francouzským králem Karlem VII.

Později se vzdal vlády a stal se mnichem, přičemž založil vlastní rytířský řád sv. Mauricia. Roku 1439 byl Basilejským koncilem zvolen papežem jako Felix V., přičemž byl proti papeži Evženovi IV. Roku 1449 se vzdal papežského úřadu a byl papežem Mikulášem V. jmenován děkanem sboru kardinálů, apoštolským vikářem v Savojsku a apoštolským administrátorem ženevského biskupství. Jako papež sídlil v Lausanne a Basileji, přičemž byl uznáván pouze v Aragonii, Uhrách, Švýcarsku a Bavorsku.
