Scorpaenodes parvipinnis és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels escorpènids.[5]

Descripció

Hàbitat

És un peix marí, associat als esculls de corall i de clima tropical (30°N-32°S) que viu entre 3-49 m de fondària.[6]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba des del Mar Roig fins a les illes Marqueses, les Tuamotu, les illes Ryukyu, les Hawaii i l'illa de Lord Howe.[6][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30]

Costums

És bentònic.[31]

Observacions
