Pseudanthias pascalus és una espècie de peix de la família dels serrànids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia

• Els mascles poden assolir 20 cm de longitud total.^[4][5]

Alimentació

Menja copèpodes i d'altres crustacis planctònics, larves de crustacis i ous de peix.^[6][7]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 5-60 m de fondària.^[4][8]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba des de Bali (Indonèsia)^[9] i les Illes Ryukyu fins a les Tuamotu, el sud del Japó,^[10][11] Austràlia^[12][13][14] i Nova Caledònia.^[15][4]
