Pseudanthias fasciatus és una espècie de peix de la família dels serrànids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia

• Els mascles poden assolir 21 cm de longitud total.^[4][5]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 20-150 m de fondària.^[4][6]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba des de la Mar Roja^[7][8] fins al sud del Japó,^{[9][10][11][12][13]} la Gran Barrera de Corall^[14][15] i Tonga.^{[16][4][17][18][19][20]}
