Joseph Mallozzi (nascut el 16 d'octubre de 1965) és un escriptor i productor canadenc.

És conegut sobretot per les seves contribucions a les sèries de televisió Stargate SG-1,[1] Stargate Atlantis[2] i Stargate Universe[3] i com a productor creador de Dark Matter.[1] Es va unir a l'equip de producció de Stargate a l'inici de la quarta temporada de Stargate SG-1 l'any 2000..[4] He was a writer and executive producer for all three Stargate series.[1][5]

A la televisió, va treballar com a guionista per a Animal Crackers,[6] The Little Lulu Show,[7] Flying Rhino Junior High, The Babaloos, Night Hood, The Lost World, Lassie, Robinson Sucroe, Caillou, Wimzie's House, Ivanhoe, Largo Winch, The Busy World of Richard Scarry, The Adventures of Paddington Bear, George and Martha, The Wombles, Mona the Vampire, Ripley's Believe It or Not!, Student Bodies, Birdz, Dr. Xargle, Big Wolf on Campus, i The Country Mouse and the City Mouse Adventures.

El 2012, va cocrear el còmic Dark Matter amb Paul Mullie. El còmic s'ha convertit en una sèrie de televisió (Dark Matter) coescrit per Mallozzi i Mullie. La preproducció d'aquesta sèrie de Prodigy Pictures Inc va començar al Canadà i es va emetre el 12 de juny de 2015.[8][9] EL febrer de 2020, Utopia Falls, que va coproduir amb R.T. Thorne, es va estrenar al servei de streaming Hulu; La sèrie no es va renovar per a una segona temporada.[10] Cap el 2021 Mallozzi està a punt d'adaptar la trilogia The Powder Mage a televisió.[3]
