Blachea és un gènere de peixos marins pertanyent a la família dels còngrids i a l'ordre dels anguil·liformes.[1][2]

Etimologia

Blachea fa referència a J. Blanche per les seues contribucions al coneixement dels peixos anguil·liformes.[3]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a la conca Indo-Pacífica[4] (Taiwan,[5] el Japó,[6] el nord-oest d'Austràlia,[7][8] Fiji[9] i Nova Caledònia).[10][11]
