Лігерад

Лігерад (ням.: Liegerad), або лежыпед — веласіпед, на якім кіроўца размяшчаецца ў ляжачай ці напаўляжачай позе на спіне, ці, у некаторых выпадках — на жываце.

Такія веласіпеды звычайна хутчэйшыя за іншыя веласіпеды за кошт сваёй аэрадынамічнасці, з-за чаго недапушчальныя для гонак (для лігерадаў існуюць асобныя велагонкі).

У першыню такія веласіпеды былі выкарыстаныя ў 1933 годзе, але Міжнародным саюзам веласіпедыстаў у 1934 годзе былі забароненыя ўсе веласіпеды з нестандартнай трохвугольнай рамай для ўдзелу ў велагонках.
