Eres^[2] ye una parroquia del conceyu asturianu de Gozón. S'esparde per 4,16 km² de la so fastera noroccidental, y tien una población de 241 habitantes (INE, 2008). Estos se reparten ente'l llugar homónimu y los de La Cabaña, Xelaz y Villanueva.

Ye una parroquia cásique llana, con una altitú media de 30 m. sobre'l nivel de la mar, y col Monte Merín (na que se conserven dellos restos de les esplotaciones mineres de Llumeres), de 113 m d'altura y asitiáu nel so estremu occidental, como pica más alta.

Nel llugar d'Eres s'asitia la ilesia parroquial de San Xurde. Reconstruyida nel sieglu XIX nun amiestu d'estilu historicista y popular, alcontrose nel so pórticu, a mediaos del sieglu XVIII, una llábana de la dómina de los romanos. Anguaño ta desaparecida, pero'l dibuxu que-y fizo'l callóndrigu Carlos González de Posada foi recoyido por Ciriaco Miguel Vigil na so obra Asturias monumental, epigráfica y diplomática (1887).
