I've added a few {{fact}} tags to the school page. Most of the problem is that a lot of the information seems like WP:OR. I am moving the title of the 1966 Cotton Bowl article that you posted this morning to 1966 Cotton Bowl (January) as there were two cotton bowls played that year, one in Jan 1966 won by LSU, and the other played Dec 31st 1966 won by Georgia. The linking history of the Cotton Bowl also links to the physical year it was played, not the corresponding season (See how 2009 is already there even though that was for the 2008 season). I will edit that as well. Just wanted to give you a heads up why I am changing that. -Pparazorback (talk) 17:33, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2009-02-26T17:33:00.000Z","author":"Pparazorback","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Pparazorback-2009-02-26T17:33:00.000Z-1966_Cotton_Bowl_(January)","replies":[]}}-->

Thanks for adding the stadium photo to the University of Arkansas template. The template definitely needing something there in the absence of the non-free logo. I'm glad someone saw the change, found a suitable replacement, and choose a good, striking image. I was going through a long list of NFCC violations, and was lazy (i.e. didn't try to find a replacement myself). Your efforts (do you mind if I call it teamwork) has not only brought the template into compliance with policy, but also visually improved it IMO. Removal rationale is simple- in some cases, there was no rationale given on the image page, and in others, the use was a clear violation of our non-free content criteria. The logo is used decoratively. As a non-free image, it should only be used where it greatly increases the readers' understanding of a topic- basically, on the article about what it represents, or anywhere that it is worthy of discussion. Placing it in loosely related articles is really not acceptable. The fact that other articles abuse non-free content is not important- the fact is that those ones do, and so they should be dealt with. If you know of other articles that use content inappropriately, please, do your bit, and deal with them. I noticed you've been creating stub articles on various Arkansas Highway articles and tagging the talk pages with the {{U.S. Roads Wikiproject}} banner. It would be helpful if you would go ahead and tag each of these with "class=stub" and "importance=mid". If the article is very clearly a stub, it is okay to rate it as such when you add the tag, even if you're the one who worked on the article. This will help keep down the number of unassessed articles in the USRD categories, and eliminate folks (like myself) from having to go through and reassess articles that are clearly stubs to begin with. Another editor brought to my attention an article you created for Arkansas Highway 70, which doesn't actually exist. The article has since been redirected to US-70. If you're using a source that shows this highway, I would discontinue using it at once. See the edit I made to Texas Recreational Road 2 to expand it [1]. WP:USRD is currently in the middle of a year-long stub elimination drive. We're working to eliminate them in 3 ways: mergers into lists where appropriate, expansion (preferably to C-Class, but Start-class works) or even creating articles at the higher assessment levels from the beginning. While article creation is beneficial to the project, please create articles that are better developed so they don't add to the stub count. So my articles aren't good enough for you and your encyclopedia becauses they add to some obscure stub count? The USRD project would rather have red links than stubs? It may look better on the project page, but that's not what an encyclopedia is about. Maybe you guys should make a red link count (astronomical) before you worry about the existing pages. A brief amount of information is better than none, even if it (heaven forbid) adds to the stub count. I'd point you to Special:WantedPages, but it hasn't updated since October. I can see where both of you are coming from. On one hand, it's great that you're taking care of redlinks and I love making junction lists. On the other hand, you couldn't be troubled to write three sentences about an 8-mile-long road? That's what Imzadi was getting at. With some satellite photos, I usually use Google Maps for this, you can write a decent route description in a few minutes (depending on the length, of course). But honestly, I wouldn't worry about the stub count. A number of us are trying to improve, merge into lists, or delete articles that would otherwise never improve. If we come up with a plan for the Texas Rec Routes, we'll let you know and get your input. –Fredddie™00:45, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2010-07-26T00:45:00.000Z","author":"Fredddie","type":"comment","level":3,"id":"c-Fredddie-2010-07-26T00:45:00.000Z-Brandonrush-2010-07-20T23:04:00.000Z","replies":["c-Brandonrush-2010-07-26T01:53:00.000Z-Fredddie-2010-07-26T00:45:00.000Z"]}}-->
I'm sorry I was snappy before. I should've waited to respond. I will try to flesh out the route description sections, but usually the problem that I run into with Arkansas highways is that there is SO LITTLE information and coverage that citing is almost impossible, and I don't actually live in Arkansas so I don't have any first-hand knowledge either. I do understand the importance of the route description section, but sometimes there just isn't much to say. It took me about 4 minutes to create the RE-2 route description off the satellite view on Google Maps. Adding at least the beginning of an RD gets the article bumped up to Start-Class from Stub-Class. Of course the desired length of the RD depends on the length of the road, and the type of surroundings. More surroundings worth mentioning, and the longer the road, the longer the RD. I was making contact and asking the DPW for American Samoa to get some information on their 3 signed highways. The hope was to get enough information that the articles could be created at start or C-class level. Then the redlinks would never be stubs, but sadly, my letter has gone unanswered, and someone created the links already. That's why I've said that there's a few options to reduce the stub count: expansion, merger, deletion or creating new articles at higher classes. If we can work smart, we avoid future stubs too. On 31 August 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Transportation of Arkansas, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

I've found a few errors on your entries for Arkansas State Highways. Many highways stop & start a number of times and don't always run concurrent with other highways (Arkansas Highway 74 being one of the worst). Yes, Arkansas is kind of weird about all that. If you are interested, I can help you determine which highways have multiple segments vs those with multiple concurrencies US 71 (talk) 15:19, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2010-09-01T15:19:00.000Z","author":"US 71","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-US_71-2010-09-01T15:19:00.000Z-Arkansas_State_Highways","replies":["c-Brandonrush-2010-07-26T01:56:00.000Z-US_71-2010-09-01T15:19:00.000Z"]}}-->
Help would be GREATLEY appreciated. I have bought paper maps, looked for hours online, mailed and emailed the AHTD, etc., but the state's crazy system still confounds me. If you find any errors, just let me know. I think I should go back and "audit" the ones I have created at User:Brandonrush/AR state highways before I get any further with that county-by-county list though. That userpage + this + this for history are all I have right now. Google maps and the like are unreliable, so they aren't helpful. Any suggestions for sites or anything would be greatley appreciated. I really just want to pull the state out of the abyss and up to acceptable coverage for now. Right now it is at an unacceptable level. Thanks a bunch US 71. I have sent emails to that "contach us" and they get redirected to various different departments, usually just sent back with "try sending this to ____ department", or just ignored. Hey. Since the transportation by county categories now exist for Arkansas, and it looks like all of the state highway by county cats have been replaced with them, would you be willing to tag the state highway by county cats for speedy deletion (under WP:CSD#G7)? Back in 1990, the Cotton Bowl was universally recognized as a major bowl. It had been part of the original Bowl Coalition in 1992, but wasn't part of the Bowl Alliance in 1995. Since then, it's been one rung below the major bowls (Bowl Alliance 1995-97, BCS 1998-present). {{infobox state highway system}} uses the same links and colors as {{infobox road}}. By updating {{infobox road/browselinks/USA}} for the AR section, both infoboxes, and all of the articles for AR that use them, got the updates. If you were copying Michigan Highway System, you might have seen the |links=MI part of the infobox to kick in the MI links ;) If there's something with the browselinks you want to change, just edit the AR part of the subtemplate. I put the business/spurs/scenic on a separate line, but they can be combined if you want. Do note that we normally don't put the some other types of lists in the infobox because they aren't a "type" of roadway, like lists of highways that serve state institutions or something.Imzadi 1979→05:17, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2011-04-12T05:17:00.000Z","author":"Imzadi1979","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Imzadi1979-2011-04-12T05:17:00.000Z-IR\/ISHS_links","replies":["c-Brandonrush-2011-04-12T05:28:00.000Z-Imzadi1979-2011-04-12T05:17:00.000Z"],"displayName":"Imzadi\u00a01979"}}-->

Thanks for the update, and I'll fix the leads. I've finally found some sources for Arkansas highways and I'm trying to do something about the horrible stub/redlink counts, so the help is definitely appreciated. I saw you were creating pages for individual townships around Washington County. I was thinking of this for some of the rural areas in the central and eastern parts of the state. Can you tell me a little about the GIS software you used? Is there something free to download to make use of the map census data? I'm new to GIS software.
On another note, is there a chance we could talk about something unrelated to Wikipedia via email? My GIS knowledge is limited, it took me two years to make a state highway map even close to spec. For the township maps, I offer this step-by-step guide:
Acquire data (this is pretty useful for Arkansas data)
From the website, have the data you request emailed to yourself as an ERSI Personal Geodatabase file
Get the data out of your email and unzip it on your computer
Open QGIS and go to Layer→Add vector layer
On the popup select browse to find your unziped data and hit open. At this point, an image of whatever your data is supposed to be should appear in an ugly solid color.
To change colors, right click on the layer you want to change on the left side in the "Layers" panel and select "Properties". Change "Legend type" to "unique value" Then change your "classification field" to however you want to change colors, for instance if you were making an Arkansas county map, you might select something like "county_name" since each polygon on the map will have a unique value in this field. (obviously) Sometimes all the data has is numbers, which makes it more difficult.
Hit "classify". You can now select which pieces of data show up as what color.
Now that your map is properly colored, you can File→Save as image. Make sure the map scale isn't covering up any of your map since it basically takes a "print screen" of what you see before you hit save.
Quit QGIS and open a blank Inkscape page. Drag the image you just saved from QGIS onto the Inkscape file.
Go to Path→Trace bitmap. Make sure the image is selected and unselect every box except "color".
Click "Trace bitmap" and a new image should appear on top of the old one. Sometimes this image is bad and you have to mess around with the settings to get something useful.
After you are satisfied, go to File→Document properties and select "crop to selection" in the popup window. This will fit the Inkscape document boundaries around the image you traced.
Delete the image you drug in. Save the file as .svg format and upload.
This is a very rough outline. I'm confident if you mess around with the program for about 30 minutes, you will figure out how to do all sorts of stuff. I just happened to look at Arkansas Highway 104 because it showed up on the new article list, and I noticed a few things in the article that I thought I'd offer some constructive criticisim. (I check that list whenever the bot updates it to see if any new articles need to be tagged and assessed for USRD and its subprojects, something you do but others don't always do.)
The first is that footnote 1 denotes that the source is in English. That's not necessary as we assume all sources used on the English Wikipedia are in English unless specified to the contrary.
For the map in footnote 2, I wouldn't use the county as the edition. Rather, the county should be a part of the title. General Highway Map: Jefferson County vs. General Highway Map (Jefferson County ed.). (Also, since the map is a PDF, you should add |format= PDF to the template so the citation displays that fact in text; not all browsers display that PDF icon and users can turn off its display.) You might want to note the map's scale, which is given as 1:62500, and give a year if you can find when that map was published.
As for the prose itself, does AHTD use the state name in the official, full name of its highways? In other words, is AHTD's official name "Arkansas Highway 104" or is it just "Highway 104"? If it's the latter, then the lead sentence of the article should only use "Highway 104" and the wikilinks to other highways should be piped to display only "Highway 365", etc instead of "Arkansas Highway 365". I assume they don't, and I updated the article to that effect. The article title doesn't need to be repeated exactly in the text of the article, after all, you wouldn't expect me to put "M-28 (Michigan highway)" in the text of the article even though that's where M-28 is located for an article title.
As for dashes, "north–south" gets an en dash (–), but two-lane gets a hyphen (-). The first is indicating that it's "north to south" while the second is a compound adjective. En dashes are used to express ranges or opposition, while a hyphen compounds two words into one linguistic unit.
My rule of thumb when writing highway article concerning abbreviations is consistency. The first time I mention any highway of a "class" (Interstate, US, state, county road, etc), I spell the name out in full and place the abbreviation afterwards. Then whenever I mention any highway of that class again, I only use the abbreviation. Since Michigan uses the word "highway" instead of "route", I pipe a link to U.S. Route 2 in Michigan as "US Highway 2" and use "(US 2)" after it, and then I'd only use US 2, etc., afterwards. Now, I wouldn't actually use "Hwy." in prose, but it is acceptable in the infobox, the junction list table and navboxes. Also, we should always use a non-breaking space between things like "Highway" and "104" or even "exit" and "12" so that if a sentence is going to continue from the end of one line to another, the word and the number components of a highway name don't appear on separate lines. A non-breaking space can be entered by typing instead of a space into the edit window.
Does AHTD use the periods in abbreviating US Highways? If not, we should change the templates to drop them. (I personally don't use the periods since only Americans use them in abbreviating the United States, and now the Chicago Manual of Style, 16th edition, is recommending that American writers drop them for consistency. AASHTO uses periods inconsistently by preferring "U.S. Route 2" but "US 2", and I think that in the long term, USRD will drop them even if AASHTO continues to use them to conform to global style guides and usage.) In the short term, either the templates should be changed to drop them, or we need to use them in our writing for Arkansas highways... although in an interstate article like U.S. Route 65, they would get dropped for consistency with the other states through which US 65 passes, even if U.S. Route 65 in Arkansas used them.
Also, I always try to include some mention of the Michigan Department of Transportation in a Michigan highway article so that I can place "(MDOT)" after the name since MDOT is listed by its abbreviation in the infobox as the maintaining agency. This is usually done by talking about traffic count data since MDOT performs the surveys, but really any method works to sneak in a mention. That way, even though MDOT is linked in the infobox to the full name of the agency, and if a reader hovers his cursor over the link he'd get the full name, the text gives that relationship between name and abbreviation. Remember, our articles can be printed out and read on paper, and all of the links disappear in print.
Can you add locations to the junctions in the infobox? Say that the three junctions are "near <location>", otherwise that looks funny.
My last comments concern the navbox on the bottom of the article. In the infobox and in {{jct}}, Arkansas's highways are abbreviated "Hwy." while you used the "AR" abbreviation there. I should think that we should use only one for consistency, even if both are given in parentheses in the lead. Speaking of the lead, I wouldn't use the word "and", but rather just place a comma between the two abbreviations.
I hope that you find these comments constructive and help you improve your writing. In my travel experience, AHTD uses both U.S. and US on signs and in documents, so I suppose I will just use US from now on (looks better anyway). AHTD also uses Arkansas ## and Highway ## for state highways, so if forced to pick one I'm not sure which would be better. As for the AR vs. Hwy. issue, the jct template formerly displayed "AR ##" but sometime in the past few months changed to showing as "Hwy. ##". I really didn't know when or why the change happened, and I try to stay away from commenting at USRD if possible. I have mostly stuck with AR ## because in my area of Arkansas I have only seen "AR ##" and never seen "Hwy. ##", but looking on roadgeek sites I have seen that AHTD uses both. Maybe its because Northwest Arkansas has had a lot more new signing and such in the recent past and AR is the "new style" or maybe its just some sign technician's preference (I've learned they are equally likely and it ultimately comes down to which the signmaker chooses. This is irking but typical of the AHTD.). In the infobox, I usually only link to a place if the junction occurs in the city limits or if an unincorporated place is exactly at the junction. Otherwise I don't know if I should introduce a new unincorporated community (Arkansas apparently has an infinite amount of these) or just put "near Whitehall". Which would be better?
Thanks for the pointers and thanks for taking the time to write them. I will work to improve my writing. Using a "near <location>" is perfectly fine; I "round" locations in the infobox and even in the prose all of the time and use the exact locations in the junction list. (Of course, Michigan is divided into townships, so every spot of land is in some incorporated municipality either a city, village or township.) As for the AR/Hwy stuff, it is beneficial if you did follow stuff at USRD because the project does try to keep things standardized and consistent across the states, to a point. Remember, the readers will view the overall Wikipedia coverage of highways based on the best and worst articles they read and won't necessarily discern between something as Michigan-only or Arkansas-only, especially when we have overview articles that cover the full length of an interstate highway (Interstate, US, or even merged like State Highway 243 (Minnesota–Wisconsin)), and that involves multiple states in one article. I would strike up a discussion at WT:USRD and present some evidence and get the AR/Hwy stuff settled in a discussion and the use the results consistently with the other abbreviation form placed in the lead sentence of articles and ignored. Remember to view your corpus of articles on Arkansas's highways as a whole. When I get the last of Michigan's highway articles through GAN in a couple years, I plan to comb through everything to make sure all of the articles are consistent to each other and then order a printed book the collects all of the 200+ articles together, but that book will look like crap if there are inconsistencies all over it. I'm trying to figure out at which stadiums Louisiana Tech played their early football games. LA Tech played Centenary College in Shreveport, but I haven't been able to find out at which stadium they played. I noticed that you added that both Arkansas and Texas A&M played Centenary at State Fair Stadium in Shreveport. However, I can't find anything that confirms that to be the case. I did find this timeline from Centenary that states in 1932 "The Centenary Stadium, located on what it is known as today Centenary's baseball field, is completed. It held 15,000 spectators and was typically filled to capacity. This same year, Centenary beat LSU in the new stadium while Gov. Huey Long watched from the stands." In 1946, "The football stadium is razed following WWII." This makes me think that those games were not played at State Fair Stadium. Do you have any references that claim those games to be played at State Fair Stadium? Solution
Brandon,
I use Excel to streamline the conversion of the GNIS data to a format for the wikipage. Here’s the step by step process I use. Of course the specific Excel formula is dependent on what information you want on the list entry. Here are the steps to use after you have generated search results in GNIS.
Once search results are generated, select “Save as pipe "|" delimited file” It will save as a CSV file. Open this file in Excel and save as a *.txt file. Close the file.
Open the *.txt in Excel. It will prompt you to open as a delimited or fixed file. Select “delimited”
On the next screen select the “|” symbol as the delimiter and “None” as the text qualifier
The data in the GNIS table will now appear in excel with each column representing a column in the GNIS data
Conduct a search and replace for the “ symbol. Replace the “ symbol with nothing. This will remove all the quote “ symbols from the data.
Add a new column to the left of the first column. You are now set up for the magic.
In column A in the second row (1st list entry), you will begin to create a formula that will transform all the appropriate data columns into a single string that will be a list entry in your list.
This is a typical formula: ="[["&TRIM(B2)&"]], {{coord|"&LEFT(G2,2)&"|"&MID(G2,3,2)&"|"&MID(G2,5,2)&"|N|"&LEFT(H2,3)&"|"&MID(H2,4,2)&"|"&MID(H2,6,2)&"|W|display=inline |name="&TRIM(B2)&"}}, el. {{convert|"&I2&"|ft|m}} <ref>{{cite gnis |id="&C2&"|name="&TRIM(B2)&"}}</ref>"
Basically you are using a variety of string functions to exact data from the various columns, add wikiformating and create a string that represents the list entry you need.
Once you get the formula right for the 1st entry, just copy and paste the formula in all the remaining cells in column A.
Now you have all the list entries formatted. Copy the text from column A and paste into your wikipage. It should work just as if you typed each entry from scratch.
I’ve found that I can take just about any GNIS search data using this approach and generate the complete set of list entries I need in about 5-10 minutes. It works the same with 10 or 150 entries.
Hope this helps. Let me know how you do.--Mike Cline (talk) 01:47, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2012-03-23T01:47:00.000Z","author":"Mike Cline","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Mike_Cline-2012-03-23T01:47:00.000Z-Solution","replies":[]}}-->

Arkansas Highway 284 was recently created. As you can see, I cleaned up a bunch of stuff, but still needs some work, like a lead. And a junction list. I corrected it from a two-segment to a unified highway because it doesn't have a gap at at the county line, removed the icons from the middle of the article text, cited google and my paper AHTD map, etc. I tossed in an updated citation to the database, but you'll probably need to tweak the length and stuff. If you're up for it, you might want to reach out and see if you can mentor this new editor. Hi, sorry for not getting back in so long. Just saw your message from March 2, 2012. I guess it's been that long since I last signed in. It looks like the US Census has released population numbers for 2010 (look under data from the Census homepage, then go to Arkansas, then to Counties, then to Minor Civil Divisions). So, I'd suggest using those numbers. The caveat is that counties do move townships around from time to time. So, the square mileage of land and water in 2000 might be different in 2010. At a cursory glance I could not find mileage in the 2010 results. I located the equivalent information for 2010. So, we should use that for the townships. Here are samples... I've added tables with 2010 data for Baxter County, Boone County, Carroll County, and Searcy County. Changes from the original design include: 2010 census data (obviously), adding ANSI code (included with 2010 Gazetteer file), and indicating (s) for population center since some townships includes parts of two cities/towns. Well, hope you decide to go. It would be great to meet. I haven't RSVP'd yet myself just in case, but I do plan to go. Do you know if there are any issues with parking on the campus? It seems that I cross-edited your last change to the Arkansas article. Yours (edit number 2 of the sequence of 3, to which I now refer) had followed mine (edit 1) and I didn't realize you'd made your change; yours ended up making mine look, to me, as if it had been unnecessary; you'd kindly left it in place, though. Yet, removing my change (edit 3), and leaving yours, is the best outcome. Its current form "...neither showed interest in remote development at Arkansas Post." seems best (I quote it from memory, being on my cell phone, an inefficient tool for navigating Wikipedia). Analogdrift (talk) 20:24, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2013-01-30T20:24:00.000Z","author":"Analogdrift","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Analogdrift-2013-01-30T20:24:00.000Z-Arkansas_cross-edit","replies":[]}}-->
Actually, I think that the form "...in development at remote Arkansas Post." would be most clear (since the development would have been relatively remote to the interests of France and Spain, not relatively remote to Arkansas Post). If I don't see that you have made this change, I will do so. I see that one of your recent edits on Arkansas has twice been reverted by a anon user without any sort of edit summary. Perhaps you can find a reliable source to support the edit. Without it I'm afraid other editors will consider it original research and continue to revert it. It is a controversial statement that is most likely true, but it should at least be discussed on the Talk page before it is reverted/restored a third time. Best wishes! Hey. What would you think about moving Arkansas Post National Memorial to a new page dedicated solely to the historical settlement (Arkansas Post (Historical Settlement)?), while keeping a separate page for the memorial itself? I'm planning to do an overhaul of the page soon anyway (just organizing some sources) and the page mostly discusses the history of the settlement anyway instead of the actual memorial. You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Thanks for stopping by my page and leaving me a message. I haven't been as active on wikipedia as I was a few years ago, but I still stop by and edit things every once in a while. Seems like things have gotten a lot more strict and it's harder to get things done now a days. I did know a few things, so if you have any articles you are working on and need someone to take a look let me know. I always had trouble getting people to review my articles. I tend to get interested in structures and old buildings or old politics in Arkansas, but anything having to do with the state I'd be interested to take a look ate. --The_stuart (talk) 06:47, 12 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2014-09-12T06:47:00.000Z","author":"The stuart","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-The_stuart-2014-09-12T06:47:00.000Z-Re:_Hey","replies":[],"displayName":"The_stuart"}}-->

A separate table from the main table might be nice. It's huge and unwieldy as is now. I do like the former routes in there, but it may be worth splitting them out too. The old shields look awesome. Please remember to identify the source of the material in your edit when copying within Wikipedia.
This type of edit does get picked up by Copy Patrol and a good edit summary helps to make sure we don't accidentally revert it. For future use, would you note the best practices wording as outlined at Wikipedia:Copying_within_Wikipedia? In particular, adding a link to the source and the phrase "see that page's history for attribution" helps ensure that proper attribution is preserved. It is not too late to add the attribution. See Wikipedia:Copying_within_Wikipedia#Repairing_insufficient_attribution which explains how to do so.S Philbrick(Talk)13:35, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2020-11-15T13:35:00.000Z","author":"Sphilbrick","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Sphilbrick-2020-11-15T13:35:00.000Z-Copying_within_Wikipedia","replies":["c-Brandonrush-2020-11-15T14:09:00.000Z-Sphilbrick-2020-11-15T13:35:00.000Z"],"displayName":"S Philbrick"}}-->

Hello,
The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey.
You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.
The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement .
Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.
