Heshmatabad Rural District (Persian: دهستان حشمت آباد) is in the Central District of Dorud County, Lorestan province, Iran.^[3] Its capital is the village of Heshmatabad.^[4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 9,738 in 2,291 households.^[5] There were 8,874 inhabitants in 2,279 households at the following census of 2011.^[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 8,933 in 2,341 households. The most populous of its 23 villages was Shahrak-e Emam, with 1,308 people.^[2]
