Bolton Wanderers 2024–25 football season
The 2024–25 season is the 136th season in the history of Bolton Wanderers Football Club and their fourth consecutive season in League One , having lost the previous season's play off final . In addition to the domestic league , the club will also participate in the FA Cup , the EFL Cup , and the EFL Trophy .

Pre-season and friendlies
On 4 June 2024, the club announced their first set of pre-season fixtures, welcoming Stoke City at home and facing Port Vale away.[ 44] A third friendly against Middlesbrough , to be played at Bishop Auckland , was added three days later.[ 45] The first pre-season friendly for the B-Team was announced on June 11, facing Stoke City U21s .[ 46] On 17 June, another fixture was announced against Chorley .[ 47] Another B-Team fixture was added on 19 June against Workington .[ 48] On 20 June, a home friendly against Italian side Fiorentina was added.[ 49] On 25 June, a behind-closed-doors friendly was added against West Bromwich Albion , to be played at St George's Park .[ 50] The same day, a fixture against Atherton Collieries was added for the B-Team.[ 51]
