Sekaan adalah desa yang berada di kecamatan Kintamani, Kabupaten Bangli, provinsi Bali, Indonesia.[3] Desa Sekaan adalah salah satu desa dinas di Kintamani, Bangli dimana sebagian besar penduduknya bekerja di sektor pertanian,peternakan dan sektor lain seperti pekerja harian proyek, pedagang dan sebagian kecil bekerja menjadi tenaga kerja di luar negeri.

Ekonomi

Desa sekaan merupakan salah satu sentra pembenihan berbagai macam bibit sayur mayur seperti berbagai macam varietas cabe, kubis, bunga gumitir, Timun dan lain-lain. Sebagian kecil penduduk beternak babi dan sapi serta ayam. untuk perputaran ekonomi desa sekaan terdapat sebuah pasar desa yang diadakan setiap 3 hari sekali, selain itu di desa sekaan juga memiliki koperasi Werdhi Artha,BUMDes, dan LPD yang membantu segala jenis pembiayaan dan tabungan. Sarana dan Prasarana di desa ini antara lain: Sekolah Taman kanak kanak /PAUD, Sekolah Dasar, Puskesmas, dan Lapangan Bola Voli.

Demografi

Penduduk desa Sekaan sampai dengan tahun 2016 terdiri dari 824 laki-laki dan 840 perempuan dengan rasio jenis kelamin manusia bernilai 98.[1]
