Ranunculidae adalah subkelas dari tumbuhan berbunga (Angiospermae) yang digunakan dalam beberapa sistem taksonomi seperti sistem Takhtajan atau sistem Reveal.[1] Karena keharusan, subkelas ini mencakup bangsa Ranunculales, namun selebihnya cakupannya berbeda-beda antar sistem taksonomi. Sistem klasifikasi yang lebih baru seperti Angiosperm Phylogeny Group tidak menggunakan subkelas untuk Angiospermae.[1]
Pengelompokan ini pertama kali diusulkan oleh Antoine Laurent de Jussieu pada tahun 1789 sebagai Ranunculaceae, yang dianggap sebagai bangsa dalam sistem klasifikasi de Jussieu.[2] Kelompok ini kemudian ditingkatkan pangkatnya menjadi subkelas oleh James L. Reveal pada tahun 1992,[3] namun menjadi usang di bawah sistem APG III.[4]
