Pemandangan Pulau Yas

Pulau Yas (bahasa Arab: جزيرة ياس) adalah sebuah pulau buatan yang terletak dekat dengan Pulau Sir Bani Yas di Abu Dhabi, Uni Emirat Arab. Pulau ini bisa dicapai melalui jalur darat atau laut.[1]

Proyek pengembangan pulau ini dimulai pada tahun 2006 oleh Aldar Properties (perusahaan pengembang skala besar) yang berbasis di Abu Dhabi, dengan tujuan mengubah pulau tersebut menjadi sebuah kawasan mewah yang berisikan pusat hiburan dan perbelanjaan dengan estimasi biaya lebih dari $40 miliar. Investasi ini direncanakan sebagai sebuah proyek bertahap yang diharapkan rampung pada tahun 2018.[2]

Pulau ini miliki total lahan seluas 2,500 ha (25 km2), dengan renaca pengembangan tambahan seluas 1,700 ha. Di pulau ini terdapat Sirkuit Yas Marina, yang menjadi tempat penyelenggaraan Grand Prix Abu Dhabi sejak tahun 2009.[2]
