Naitimu adalah sebuah desa di Kecamatan Tasifeto Barat, Kabupaten Belu, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Luas wilayah Desa Naitimu adalah 10,14 km2. Lahan di Desa Naitimu dimanfaatkan untuk irigasi permukaan. Wilayah Desa Naitimu rawan mengalami bencana banjir, tanah longsor, kekeringan dan kebakaran.

Wilayah administratif

Naitimu berkedudukan sebagai salah satu desa di Kecamatan Tasifeto Barat, Kabupaten Belu, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur.[1] Luas wilayah Desa Naitimu adalah 10,14 km2. Luas wilayahnya mencakup 4,52% dari total luas wilayah Kecamatan Tasifeto Barat.[2] Jarak wilayah Desa Naitimu ke ibu kota Kecamatan Tasifeto Barat adalah 2 km. Sedangkan jarak wilayah Desa Naitimu ke ibu kota Kabupaten Belu adalah 21 km.[3] Wilayah Desa Naitimu terbagi menjadi 10 rukun warga dan 20 rukun tetangga.[4]

Pemanfaatan lahan

Irigasi

Pada tahun 2020, Desa Naitimu memiliki sebuah lahan untuk irigasi permukaan yang bernama Halilulik. Lahan di Halilulik terbagi menjadi lahan baku seluas 71,77 ha dan lahan fungsional seluas 64,61 ha.[5]

Kebencanaan

Desa Naitimu merupakan salah satu wilayah di Kecamatan Tasifeto Barat yang rawan mengalami bencana berupa banjir dan tanah longsor.[6] Selain itu, Desa Naitimu juga rawan mengalami bencana kekeringan dan kebakaran.[7][8]
