Musibah KM Martasiah

Kapal Motor Martasiah adalah kapal penumpang dan barang bermuatan 6 gross ton (GT) yang tenggelam di Tanjung Dewa, Kelumpang Utara, Kotabaru, Kalimantan Selatan pada 6 Juni 2011 yang diperkirakan terjadi pada pukul 10:00 WITA.[1] Penumpang KM Martasiah berjumlah 105 orang dengan hanya 23 orang yang terdaftar dalam manifes kapal.[2][3] Akibat kecelakaan tenggelamnya kapal 27 orang tewas dan 5 orang lain belum ditemukan.[1]

Penyebab

KM Martasiah yang berjenis kapal kayu serta melayani rute Kotabaru-Geronggang tenggelam disebabkan kelebihan muatan dan cuaca buruk.[3] Proses tenggelamnya kapal disebabkan lambung kapal sebelah kanan dihantam ombak dan angin kencang yang membuat kapal oleng dan akhirnya tenggelam.[4]

Evakuasi

Proses evakuasi dilakukan 13 unit kapal cepat dari berbagai instansi seperti Kementerian Perhubungan, TNI Angkatan Laut, Kesatuan Polisi Pengaman Pelabuhan, dan PT Pelindo.[5] Korban selamat dievakuasi ke Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Kotabaru.[4]
