miHoYo Co., Ltd. (Hanzi: 米哈游; Pinyin: Mǐhāyóu; berganti nama di luar Tiongkok sebagai HoYoverse sejak 15 Februari 2022) adalah sebuah perusahaan studio animasi dan pengembang permainan video yang berbasis di Shanghai, Tiongkok. Perusahaan ini didirikan pada tahun 2012 oleh tiga mahasiswa dari Universitas Jiao Tong Shanghai dan, hingga 2022, memperkerjakan lebih dari 4.000 orang.[4]

Perusahaan ini adalah pencipta permainan Genshin Impact, sebuah permainan bermain peran aksi dunia terbuka yang dirilis pada tahun 2020, dan salah satu gim telepon seluler terlaris. miHoYo juga telah mengembangkan game Houkai Gakuen 2 (juga dikenal sebagai Guns Girl Z) dan Honkai Impact 3rd, selain itu juga mengembangkan platform media sosial HoYoLAB untuk konten terkait.

miHoYo juga beroperasi dalam dua perusahaan lain: Shanghai miHoYo Phantom Iron Technology Company Limited (Hanzi: 上海米哈游影铁科技有限公司), yang mengelola situs web, periklanan, publikasi, perizinan, telekomunikasi, dan Shanghai miHoYo Schicksal Technology Company Limited (Hanzi: 上海米哈游天命科技有限公司). Kedua nama perusahaan ini mengacu pada game mereka sendiri, Honkai Impact 3rd.[5] Anak perusahaannya Cognosphere Pte. Ltd., yang berbasis di Singapura dan menjalankan bisnis sebagai HoYoverse, mengelola semua operasi global miHoYo di luar Tiongkok sejak 15 Februari 2022.

Sejarah

Perusahaan ini didirikan pada tahun 2012 oleh tiga mahasiswa dari Universitas Jiao Tong Shanghai yang memutuskan untuk mengembangkan permainan berdasarkan kecintaan mereka terhadap anime. Salah satu permainan mereka adalah Guns Girl yang dirilis pada 2014.[4] Sejak saat itu, perusahaan ini merilis beberapa permainan video yang bertemakan anime dan berfokus dalam platform telepon seluler.
