Marj al-Saffar

Marj al-Saffar adalah sebuah wilayah yang berada di bagian selatan Damaskus. [1] Berbagai pertempuran antara Kekaisaran Bizantium dengan Kesultanan Mamluk telah terjadi dengan Marj al-Saffar sebagai salah satu kota penting yang diperebutkan.[2] Marj al-Saffar merupakan tempat bersejarah yang mengakhiri invasi Kekaisaran Mongol ke Suriah pada masa Kesultanan Mamluk.[1]
