Malalai dari Maiwand (bahasa Pashtun: د ميوند ملالۍ), juga dikenal dengan nama Malala (bahasa Pashtun: ملاله), atau Malalai Anaa (bahasa Pashtun: ملالۍ انا, yang berarti Malalai sang "Nenek") adalah seorang pahlawan rakyat nasional Afganistan yang menggerakkan pejuang-pejuang Pashtun melawan tentara Britania dalam Pertempuran Maiwand pada tahun 1880.^[1] Ia bertempur bersama dengan Ayub Khan dan bertanggung jawab atas kemenangan Afganistan^[2] dalam Pertempuran Maiwand pada 27 Juli 1880 selama Perang Inggris-Afganistan Kedua. Ia juga disebut "Jeanne D'Arc Afgan"^[3] dan "Molly Pitcher Afgan"^[4] di dunia Barat. Terdapat banyak sekolah, rumah sakit, dan institusi-institusi lain di Afganistan yang dinamai darinya. Kisah mengenai Malalai diajarkan di buku sekolah Afgan. Aktivis hak perempuan Pakistan Malala Yousafzai dan aktivis dan politikus Afganistan Malalai Joya dinamai dari Malalai dari Maiwand.^[5]
