Lamniformes
Lamniformes (dari kata yunani , "Lamna" atau "ikan pemangsa") adalah sebuah ordo dari hiu yang biasanya dikenal sebagai hiu makerel (juga mungkin mengacu khusus kepada famili Lamnidae). Ordo ini memasukan juga spesies hiu paling terkenal seperti Hiu putih,[2] dan sampai representasi yang kurang biasa seperti hiu goblin dan hiu bermulut besar.
