James Rash (lahir 15 Juli 1971) adalah aktor, komedian, dan pembuat film asal Amerika Serikat. Dia dikenal luas karena perannya sebagai Dean Craig Pelton di sitkom NBC, Community (2009–2015), di mana dia dinominasikan untuk Penghargaan Televisi Pilihan Kritikus untuk Aktor Pendukung Terbaik dalam Serial Komedi pada tahun 2012. Pada tahun yang sama, ia memenangkan Academy Award untuk Skenario Adaptasi Terbaik dan menerima nominasi Golden Globe sebagai salah satu penulis The Descendants.^[1]

Kehidupan pribadi

Rash lahir di Charlotte, Carolina Utara pada 15 Juli 1971. Dia dan saudara perempuannya diadopsi.^[2] Dia bersekolah di Charlotte Latin School.^[3] Setelah lulus, ia menghabiskan tahun pasca sarjana di Lawrenceville School di Lawrenceville, New Jersey.^[3] Dia adalah anggota The Groundlings, grup komedi improvisasi yang berbasis di Los Angeles.

Rash menyatakan dia mengaku sebagai anggota LGBT "lebih dari 10 tahun yang lalu" saat wawancara mempromosikan Bros pada September 2022.^[4]
