Abu al-Hasan Ali bin Abi Said Abdurrahman bin Ahmad bin Yunus as-Sadafi (bahasa Arab: أبو الحسن علي بن أبي سعيد عبد الرحمن بن أحمد بن يونس الصدفي; 958-1009) adalah seorang ahli astronomi berkebangsaan Mesir. Ia sering disebut Ibnu Yunus yang terkenal lewat karya astronomi. Pada tahun 990, ia menyusun tabel-tabel astronomi sebanyak empat jilid. Di kemudian hari, karya ini diterjemahkan dalam berbagai bahasa di dunia. Ibnu Yunus merupakan penemu kuadran berlubang alat pengukur gerakan bintang. Penemuannya yang terpenting ialah pendulum atau bandul ayunan yang digunakan untuk mengukur detik-detik waktu dalam observasi benda-benda angkasa, 600 tahun sebelum Galileo Galilei dan C. Huygens yang sekarang dianggap penemunya.[1]
