Dame Emma Thomas, Lady Nolan, DBE[1] (lahir 9 Desember 1971) adalah seorang produser film Inggris. Dia telah memproduksi semua film fitur yang disutradarai oleh suaminya Christopher Nolan, yang telah meraup lebih dari $6 miliar di seluruh dunia dan dianggap sebagai salah satu film terhebat pada dekadenya masing-masing.[2][3][4]

Dia menerima Academy Award, BAFTA dan Critics' Choice Movie Award untuk memproduksi film thriller biografi Nolan Oppenheimer (2023), menjadi wanita Inggris pertama yang memenangkan Oscar untuk Film Terbaik. Thomas menerima gelar dame pada tahun 2024 atas kontribusinya pada film.

Karier

Selain memproduseri film, Thomas bekerja sebagai pengawas naskah sepanjang 1990-an dan menjadi asisten sutradara Stephen Frears untuk film High Fidelity (2000).[5][6]

Pendidikan

Thomas lulus dari University College London,[7] tempat ia bertemu Nolan. Ia telah memproduseri seluruh film Nolan sejak 1997. Mereka bersama-sama mengoperasikan rumah produksi Syncopy Inc.

Kehidupan pribadi

Per 2013, Thomas dan Nolan tinggal bersama empat anak mereka di Los Angeles.[8]
