"Earth" adalah singel amal oleh rapper asal Amerika Serikat Lil Dicky. Lagu ini dirilis pada 19 April 2019 (tiga hari sebelum Hari Bumi) melalui Dirty Burd, Commission dan BMG. Lagu ini menampilkan vokal dari Dicky, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Halsey, Zac Brown, Brendon Urie, Hailee Steinfeld, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Kevin Hart, Adam Levine, Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, Sia, Miley Cyrus, Lil Jon, Rita Ora, Miguel, Katy Perry, Lil Yachty, Ed Sheeran, Meghan Trainor, Joel Embiid, Tory Lanez, John Legend, Psy, Bad Bunny, Kris Wu, Backstreet Boys dan Leonardo DiCaprio.[1][2][3]

Latar belakang

Pada 19 April 2019, Dicky melalui Twitter mengumumkan perilisan lagu baru pada minggu berikutnya.[4] Dilaporkan juga bahwa penyanyi asal Kanada Justin Bieber akan kembali ke dunia musik sebagai bintang tamu di lagu baru Lil Dicky.[5] Bieber mengkonfirmasi kolaborasi tersebut di Twitter beberapa hari kemudian.[6] Lebih dari 30 selebriti dan penyanyi-penulis lagu berada di studio rekaman untuk membawakan lagu ini.

Musik video

Pada 17 April, Dicky merilis preview musik video yang dirilis keesokan harinya. Disutradarai bersama oleh Nigel Tierney dan Federico Heller,[7][8] Video animasi diceritakan dari sudut pandang beberapa hewan yang terkena dampak perubahan iklim, dan suaranya dibawakan oleh 30 selebriti dan penyanyi-penulis lagu.[2]
