Counter Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar, disingkat C-RAM atau Counter-RAM, adalah seperangkat sistem yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi dan/atau menghancurkan roket, artileri, dan mortir yang masuk di udara sebelum mencapai target darat mereka, atau hanya memberikan peringatan dini.[1][2][3]

Kemampuan mencegat C-RAM secara efektif merupakan versi darat dari senjata seperti senjata api cepat yang dikendalikan radar Phalanx CIWS untuk perlindungan jarak dekat kapal dari rudal; salah satu sistem senjata juga menggunakan kamera infra merah pandangan ke depan (FLIR) untuk memungkinkan pembela untuk secara visual mengidentifikasi ancaman target ini sebelum menyerang target.[4][5]

Satu perbedaan utama antara varian berbasis darat dan laut adalah pilihan amunisi. Sementara sistem Phalanx angkatan laut menembakkan peluru penusuk lapis baja tungsten, C-RAM menggunakan amunisi 20mm HEIT-SD (pelacak pembakar, penghancuran diri) 20mm , yang awalnya dikembangkan untuk sistem pertahanan udara M163 Vulcan.
