Brigade Infanteri 24/Bulungan Cakti atau Brigif 24/Bulungan Cakti adalah Brigade Infanteri yang berada di bawah komando Kodam VI/Mulawarman. Markas Komando Brigif 24/Bulungan Cakti berkedudukan di Tanjung Selor, Kalimantan Utara. Brigade ini diresmikan oleh KASAD Jenderal TNI George Toisutta pada tanggal 15 Desember 2009 bertepatan dengan peringatan Hari Juang Kartika tahun 2009 di Jakarta. Markas Komando Brigif 24/Bulungan Cakti berada di Jalan Poros Tanah Kuning Kelurahan Gunung Sari, Kecamatan Tanjung Selor, Kabupaten Bulungan, Provinsi Kalimantan Utara.

Sejarah

Peresmian Brigade Infanteri (Brigif) 24 Bulungan Cakti ditindaklanjuti dengan penyerahan duaja yang dilaksanakan oleh Panglima Kodam VI/Mulawarman Mayjen TNI Tono Suratman pada 18 Maret 2010 di Kota Tanjung Selor, Kalimantan Timur. Komandan pertama Brigif R 24/BC adalah Kolonel Inf Joppye Onesimus Wayangkau. Pembentukan Brigif R 24/BC dimaksudkan untuk peningkatan pengamanan di perbatasan Indonesia-Malaysia.[1]

Satuan organik brigade ini terdiri dari 2 batalyon yang sebelumnya di bawah komando Korem 091/Aji Surya Natakesuma, yakni;

  1. Yonif 613/Raja Alam di Kota Tarakan
  2. Yonif 614/Raja Pandita di Kota Malinau
  3. Yonif 612 Di Sendawar Kabupaten Kutai Barat (Dalam Tahap Pembangunan)
