Bisyr bin Mu'awiyah

Beliau adalah Bisyr bin Mu'awiyah bin Tsaur bin Mu'awiyah bin Ubbad bin al-Bakka` bin Amir bin Rabi'ah bin Amir bin Sha'sha'ah (arab: بشر بن معاوية بن ثور بن معاوية بن عباد بن البكاء بن عامر بن ربيعة بن عامر بن صعصعة ) Beliau dan bapaknya yang bernama Mu'awiyah bin Tsaur merupakan sahabat Nabi yang tinggal di Hijaz (Makkah dan Madinah).[1]

Kisah Keislaman

Sahabat Bisyr ini merupakan utusan dari klan Bani 'Amir bersama dengan ayahnya pada tahun utusan ('aam al-wufud) yang terjadi pasca perang Tabuk pada bulan Rajab tahun 9 H. Beliau masuk ke kemah Rasulullah dan meminta do'a untuk diberikan keberkahan, peristiwa ini diabadikan oleh anaknya, Muhammad bin Bisyr dalam syairnya.

Bisyr bin Mu'awiyah juga memiliki bekas usapan tangan Rasulullah pada wajahnya yang serupa kilauan bercahaya, karena Nabi Muhammad dikenal tidak pernah mengusap wajah seseorang kecuali juga menyembuhkan penyakit yang ada pada diri orang tersebut.[2]
