2024年5月9日，據韓媒報導，Stray Kids將於7月19日回歸[1]。

6月19日，官方宣布Stray Kids將於7月19日以迷你九輯《ATE》回歸[2]。6月21日，公開專輯曲目表。

7月19日下午1時，公開專輯主打曲音樂錄影帶及全專音源，並發行實體專輯，8月8日上午0時，公開收錄曲〈JJAM〉音樂錄影帶。

2024年6月19日，官方釋出專輯預告片[3]，同日，官方釋出迷你九輯《ATE》首波專輯預覽圖並開放預購[4][5][6][7][8]。7月10日，釋出第二波專輯預覽圖。
