海倫·達德森·普林斯（英語：Helen Dodson Prince，1905年12月31日—2002年2月4日）是一名美國天文學家，在密西根大學開創了耀斑研究工作。

早年生活和教育

海倫於1905年12月31日出生於馬里蘭州巴爾的摩，父親是亨利·克萊·達德森（Henry Clay Dodson），母親是海倫·沃爾特（Helen Walter）。由於精通物理和數學，普林斯獲得古徹學院（英语：Goucher College）數學系的全額獎學金，並於1927年在該校獲得文學學士學位。在本科學習期間，受弗洛倫斯·P·劉易斯（Florence P. Lewis）的影響，她開始研究天文學。普林斯繼續在密西根大學攻讀研究生，並於1932年和1934年分別獲得天文學碩士和博士學位。普林斯的博士論文題目是《參宿增十一光譜研究》[1]。

職業生涯
