劇情

希薇和洛基走進位於時間盡頭的城堡與分鐘小姐（英语：Miss Minutes）會面。分鐘小姐向他們轉達自己的創造者「留存者」提出的提議，希望兩人共同返回現存的神聖時間線中，留存者會滿足兩人的所有需求，給予洛基權位和給予希薇幸福。但兩人拒絕了這項提議，繼續進入城堡與留存者會面。留存者聲稱在結束由自己的多名變體引發的一場多元宇宙戰爭後為了守護神聖時間線而創建了時間變異管理局。時間線這時開始脫離留存者的控制並出現了分支，留存者向兩人提出兩個選擇：冒著再次引發多元宇宙戰爭的風險殺死他或接替他守護神聖時間線。與此同時，拉芙娜·洛斯蕾爾（英语：Ravonna）收到留存者的消息前去尋找「自由意志」。獵人B-15為了告知其他的瞬息特警也是變體而帶著他們來到2018年，發現一所學校的副校長正是洛斯蕾爾的變體。希薇執意要殺死留存者，洛基擔心對方所言非虛，奮力阻止希薇。希薇使用時間平板將洛基傳送回時間變異管理局，隨後殺死留存者。時間線上開始迅速形成多個無法刪除的分歧點事件，進而可能再次引發另一場多元宇宙戰爭[a]。

洛基在時間變異管理局的總部找到梅比斯·M·梅比斯和獵人B-15，告訴兩人留存者的邪惡變體即將發動戰爭，但梅比斯此時顯然不認識洛基，要求屬下查清洛基的身份。洛基抬頭看到大廳中以留存者的一名變體為原型塑造的雕像[b]取代了原有的三尊時間守護者雕像[c]。
