瑪丹娜唱過不少關於女孩的歌，這首溫柔的抒情小品，和給人一向強勢作風的瑪丹娜很難連結的起來。其實《女孩的感覺》主要是寫給男生聽的，瑪丹娜希望藉著這首歌曲呼籲男生們反省了自己長久以來對女性輕蔑與打壓的態度，對一個真正的女孩，你是需要給予禮貌的尊重。這首歌也隱喻著另一個層面，瑪丹娜擁有許多非同志以及同志歌迷們，她也藉著這首雙關女孩的歌曲，希望同志歌迷們能得到社會上多一點的尊重和肯定。

商業成績

《女孩的感覺》在告示牌單曲榜上最高成績為第23名[1]，它在前40名只停留了四週。不過《女孩的感覺》在舞曲榜為第1名，英國單曲榜獲得第7名，這是瑪丹娜在英國單曲榜獲得的第52首TOP 10單曲[2]。

音樂影片

《女孩的感覺》的音樂影片採用有Trance元素的Above & Beyond Club重混版本，並由當時瑪丹娜的丈夫也是英國導演蓋·瑞奇（英語：Guy Ritchie）執導，片中充滿黑色英國式幽默，蓋·瑞奇將所有暴力畫面都改由趣味式手法來表現。雖然影片中並沒有呈現出血腥畫面，但由於劇情太過於挑戰公權力，仍讓它走上被禁播的命運。
