Zathura, özgür, eklenti tabanlı bir belge görüntüleyicidir. Eklentiler PDF (poppler veya MuPDF aracılığıyla), PostScript ve DjVu için mevcuttur. Hafif olması vi benzeri tuş bağlamalarıyla kontrol edilmesi için yazılmıştır. Zathura'nın özelleştirilebilirliği, onu birçok Linux kullanıcısı tarafından çok sevilir hale getirmektedir.[4]

Zathura, Arch Linux,[5] Debian,[6] Fedora,[7] Gentoo,[8] OpenBSD,[9] OpenSUSE,[10] Source Mage,[11] Ubuntu[12] için resmi paketlere sahiptir. MacPorts tarafından sağlanan resmi olmayan macOS paketi de mevcuttur.[13]

Zathura, adını 2002 senesinde çıkan Zathura kitabı ve 2005 senesinde çıkan Zathura: Bir Uzay Macerası filminden almıştır[14]

Tarih

Zathura'nın geliştirme süreci 12 Ağustos 2009'da başladı.[15] 18 Eylül 2009'da, sürüm 0.0.1 Arch Linux topluluğuna duyuruldu.[16]

Zathura, Nisan 2010'dan beri resmi bir Arch Linux paketidir.[17] Debian Squeeze'in bir parçası olarak 2011'den beri resmi bir Debian paketidir.[18]
