Taramalı tünelleme mikroskobu

Londra Nanoteknoloji Merkezinde yer alan bir taramalı tünelleme mikroskobu.

Taramalı tünelleme mikroskobu, yüzeyleri atomik düzeyde görüntülemek için kullanılan alettir. 1981'de, Gerd Binnig ve Heinrich Rohrer tarafından icat edilmiş olup,[1] kendileri 1986 yılında bu icatla Nobel Fizik Ödülü'nü kazanmışlardır.[2]
