Türk Eğitim Vakfı İnanç Türkeş Özel Lisesi (kısaca TEVİTÖL), yerleşkesi Türkiye'nin Kocaeli ilinin Gebze ilçesinde yer alan özel bir lise. Yüksek potansiyelli çocuklara, ihtiyaç duydukları özel eğitimi vermek amacıyla Eylül 1993'te Sezai Türkeş tarafından kurulmuştur. 10 Temmuz 2002'den bu yana okul Türk Eğitim Vakfı bünyesindedir.[2]

Tarihçe

1990 yılında, girişimci ve iş adamı Sezai Türkeş, eşi İnanç Türkeş’in adını yaşatacak, maddi olanakları sınırlı üstün/özel yetenekli çocukların eğitileceği bir okul açmak için bir vakıf kurdu. Bunun üzerine İnanç Lisesi adıyla Eylül 1993'te kurulan okul belirlenen amaç doğrultusunda eğitim vermekte iken, Ocak 1996'da maddi güçlükler baş gösterdi ve yerleşkenin inşaat çalışmalarına ara verildi. 1997 yılında uygulamaya konan zorunlu sekiz yıllık eğitim nedeniyle okulun ortaokul bölümü kapandı, öğrenci kaynağına sınırlama getirdi.

Türk Eğitim Vakfı'nın desteğiyle 10 Temmuz 2002 tarihinden itibaren eğitim öğretime aralıksız olarak devam etmektedir.

Anadolu Lisesi müfredatı uygulayan okulda eğitim süresi 1 yılı ingilizce hazırlık olmak kaydıyla 5 yıldır. Yüksek potansiyelli öğrenciler özel bir sınavla seçilmekte ve eğitim yüksel potansiyellilere uygun etkinlikler sürdürülmektedir.

Okula giriş süreci

Yüksek potansiyelli öğrenciler özel bir seçme süreci ile okula kabul edilmektedir. Öncesinde yalnızca MEB'e bağlı Rehberlik Araştırma Merkezlerince belirlenen ve maddi yetersizliği bulunan üstün yetenekli öğrenciler kabul edilirken, ilk defa 2003–2004 öğretim yılında dışarıdan başvuru kabul edilmiş ve gerekli kriterleri karşılayan ücretli öğrenciler de öğrenime başlamıştır. 2018 yılına kadar okula seçim 3 aşamalı olarak yapıldı. 2018 yılında öğrenci alımı yapılmadı. 2019 yılı itibari ile ise okula seçim süreci 29 Ocak 2023 tarihinde Wayback Machine sitesinde arşivlendi. iki aşamalıdır. Birinci aşama Bakanlıkça yapılan Liseye Giriş Sınavıdır. İlk aşamada yüksek puana sahip öğrenciler ikinci aşama için okula davet edilir. İkinci aşamada öğrencilere Cognitive Assessment System [CAS] adlı bilişsel değerlendirme testi ile okul öğretmenlerince gerçekleştirilen öğrenci mülakatı uygulanmaktadır. Tüm öğrenciler maddi durumlarına bakılmaksızın kabul edilirken, kabul edilmelerinin ardından maddi durumlarına göre burs verilmektedir.
