Sosyal Demokrasi Vakfı (kısaca SODEV), 1994 yılı sonunda İstanbul'da kurulmuş bir vakıftır. Temel amaçları arasında, toplumda "çoğulcu ve özgürlükçü demokrasinin bütün kavram, kural ve kurumları ile yerleştirilmesine katkı yapmak", "emeğe, insana ve doğaya saygı anlayışını yaygınlaştırmak", "özgürlük, eşitlik, dayanışma, adalet, barış ve dürüstlük gibi değerlerin tüm insanların ortak anlayışı olarak benimsenmesine yardımcı olmak", "sosyal devletin ve demokrasinin geliştirilmesi için çalışmalar gerçekleştirmek" yer almaktadır.[1]

SODEV, 2001'den bu yana yer yıl insan hakları, demokrasi, barış ve dayanışma konularında etkili çalışmalar yapmış kişi ve kurumlara ödül vermektedir.
