Koop Süt, (Süt ve Sıvı Yağ Ürünleri Üretim ve Pazarlama Kooperatifi) Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti'nde süt ve süt ürünleri üretip pazarlayan bir kooperatif şirketidir.

Tarihi

Koop Süt, 1958 yılında Lefkoşa'nın Eylence köyünde 21 çoban tarafından "Sütçülük Şirketi" adı altında kooperatif olarak kuruldu. 1962 yılında Kooperatif Merkez Bankası'ndan alınan krediyle Lefkoşa'da bugünkü süt fabrikasının arazisi satın alınarak fabrika kuruldu. İlk yıllarda sadece Ocak-Mayıs ayları arasında koyun sütünü işleyerek çalışmalarını sürdüren Sütçülük Şirketi, 1968 yılında Kooperatif Merkez Bankası tarafından satın alınarak "KOOP SÜT" adı altında büyüyüp gelişti.[1]

1958 yılında şişe süt, hellim ve delikli peynir üretimi ile başladı. 1968'de Kooperatif Merkez Bankası tarafından satın alındı. Kapasitesi büyüdü ve çevre şehirlere dağıtım yapmaya başladı. 1969'da yoğurt üretimine başladı. 1972'de ayran, 1975'te ise tereyağı ve koper peyniri üretimine başladı. 1980 yılında krem peynir, 1990'da meyve suyu, 1994'te ise dondurma, 2015'te Taze Kaşar ve Tost Peyniri, 2020'de ise krema üretimine başlandı.[2]

Günümüzdeki durumu

Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti'nde 1963 yılından beri en önemli kurumlardan biridir. Bölgedeki en büyük süt ve meyve suyu üreticisi konumundadır. Günümüzde 50'den fazla çeşit ürün üretmektedir.
