Kayrevan Ulu Camii (Arapça: جامع القيروان الأكبر, romanize: Camiü'l-Kayrevan el-Ekber) veya Ukbe Camii, Tunus'un Kayrevan kentinde bulunan bir camidir. Cami, MS 670 yılında Ukbe bin Nafi tarafından inşa edilmiş olup şehir merkezinde yer almaktadır. Cami özellikle Kuzey Afrika'daki en etkileyici ve en büyük İslami yapılardan biri olarak kabul edilmektedir.[1]

Kayrevan Ulu Camii, 9.000 metrekareden fazla bir alanı kaplamakta olup İslam dünyasının en eski ibadet yerlerinden biridir ve Mağrip'te sonradan inşa edilen tüm camiler bu cami örnek alınarak inşa edildi.[2] Yaklaşık 405 metrelik çevresi hipostil bir ibadethane, mermer döşeli bir avlu ve kare bir minare içermektedir.[3] Manevi prestijine ek olarak, İslam mimarisinin başyapıtlarından biridir[4] >[5] ve at nalı kemerin İslam dünyasında ilk kez kullanıldığından dikkate değerdir.

İki yüzyıl sonra Ağlebîler döneminde yapılan kapsamlı çalışmalar, camiye günümüzdeki görünümünü kazandırdı.[6] Bu çalışmalar, Kayrevan Ulu Camii'nin ve Kayrevan'daki diğer kutsal yerlerin ünü şehrin gelişmesine ve genişlemesine yardımcı oldu. Camide eğitim veren âlimlerden oluşan üniversite, hem İslam düşüncesinde hem de dünyevi ilimlerde bir eğitim merkeziydi.[7] O zamanki rolü, Orta Çağ'daki Paris Üniversitesi'ninkiyle karşılaştırılabilir.[8] 11. yüzyılın ortalarından itibaren şehrin gerilemesiyle, entelektüel düşüncenin merkezi Tunus'taki Zeytune Üniversitesi'ne taşındı.[9]
